Often the client may have an issue concerning trust between themselves and the practitioner and the possibility of imposition or expectation that may skew the results. The device will also assist those licensed practitioners whose licensing scope of practice prohibits tactile contact. The practitioner simply guides the client through the testing process while the client self tests. The device also enables those whose Religious constraints prohibit touching.

Stress reduction is paramount and essential to achieving and maintaining optimum health and happiness. Numerous studies indicate that stress can lead to dis-ease. Therefore, the need for a simple, inexpensive reliable method to detect stress became apparent. From my years of experience in the Robotics Engineering Industry and subsequently as a Designated Doctor for the Texas Worker's Compensation Commission performing functional capacity tests, I was able to design a device that, when used as directed, can reveal stressors in people's lives.
